Overall its suffering the Walking Dead syndrome of style without substance. So many loop holes in the advanced technology kind of like Star Wars tech you would think that the hosts could be identified and located by the technology that created them. Evan Rachel Wood as Dolores is an absolute snooze fest with way too much screen time. The world was created for the elite, but it seems no one in the real world cares that hundreds of elites go missing. Every guest character is now a disposable moron or a Cannon Fodder for the hosts. Two episodes into the second season and Westworld lost its intrigue it's just a shooting gallery, full of murder and mayhem. I certainly am getting off this train before it hits the mountain. I will not be surprised if next season I read that they are now suggesting everyone is just in the Matrix, or it was all just a dream. By the end of the season, they even devolve to that old trope where no one knows if they are real or a replicant. Once is interesting, twice is boring, and a third time is a criminal waste of time. Then there is the repetition within story lines. To make that even worse, they do not reliably even use that plot device for sentient hosts. It that were possible then it would have been done throughout season one by the technicians instead of carrying them. There are too many breaks in continuity, especially being able to simply reboot a dead host without repairs. After seeing the entire second season, I can confirm that was accurate. Season one was both, but this seemed to be a meandering mess. It that were possible then it would have been done throughout After three episodes I called this what this had become, style without substance. This is evocative of Dolores in Season 1 and a nod to the host's constrictive programming which starkly contrasts human reflexes. After three episodes I called this what this had become, style without substance. The most suspenseful detail comes in Episode 6 when the rebel blinks his eye against a crawling fly, which causes the host drone to capture him. The signature phrase "Have you ever questioned the nature of your reality" also returns to "Westworld" in Season 6 when Emmett (Michael Malarkey) finds Christina researching Dolores Abernathy in the character archives. At Temperance, we meet what the crew of the show lovingly calls "knockoff versions" of our favorite Westworld hosts (like Dolores, Teddy, Maeve, and Hector), who recreate the "Paint It, Black" robbery scene to a new Djawadi rendition of Metallica's "Enter Sandman." The mirroring continues as host Sophia (Lili Simmons) welcomes guests to yet another park, offering a new selection of black or white clothing. On the way to Temperance, Maeve edits her looped "new world" speech when she realizes where she's headed.
